In this issue: TixNix Coverage Expands to Arizona and Colorado The TixNix team has been hard at work expanding the TixNix network to include attorneys in states that neighbor those currently in the TixNix network. The most recent state additions are Arizona and Colorado. With the addition of these states, TixNix now offers seamless legal coverage for motorists and truckers throughout the states and trucking lanes in the southwestern region of the US. "We have had many potential customers ask us to bring TixNix to these states," says Drew Massie, TixNix Co-Founder and COO. "We are happy to now offer our services to Arizona and Colorado drivers." A Chicago-based company has implemented a Web-based service that it calls an alternative to pre-paid legal services for truckers to determine whether they should pay or contest traffic violations. "What prepaid legal services charge hundreds of dollars for, TixNix.com provides for free," said Steve Ehrenreich, CEO and co-founder of TixNix.com. "At TixNix.com, we offer every driver a free consultation with an experienced traffic attorney for every violation they receive." Ehrenreich said the system used by TixNix.com allows the company to streamline the data collection process and provide that process at no cost to the driver. He said prepaid legal services sometimes charge hundreds of dollars for the same service. Only when the case is accepted and assigned to an attorney is there a fee charged, according to Ehrenreich. Texas Drivers May Soon Be Fined for Eating & Using Phones While Driving
According to recently filed House Bill 1810 pending in the Texas State Legislature, motorists and truck drivers may soon find themselves receiving additional violations and paying inflated fines during traffic stops should they commit any of a number of actions cited as "inattentive driving." The bill, authored by Representative Paul Moreno of El Paso, was filed on March 1st.
"Legislation such as this only serves to pad the coffers of the local and state treasurers. There is simply no logical reason to make listening to a radio while driving illegal," says Steve Ehrenreich, CEO and founder of TixNix.com, a service that allows motorists to fight moving violations and protect their driving records through the Internet. "TixNix.com attorneys are already prepared to fight for our clients against these ill-conceived violations should they become law this September."
California Drivers Fight Traffic Tickets Online with TixNix.com
TixNix.com, a new service that lets motorists and truckers fight speeding tickets and other traffic violations through the Web, is now available for California motorists. By giving each driver who uses the site a free consultation with an experienced traffic lawyer, TixNix.com helps these motorists keep their records clean and their insurance rates lower.
“On a per capita basis, California drivers receive one of the highest rates of traffic tickets per 100,000 miles driven,” says Steve Ehrenreich, CEO and co-founder of TixNix.com. “Many of these violations can be easily dismissed or reduced in court – but often, a driver needs the help of an experienced traffic attorney to win.”
